9 hours x 14 minutes x 17g (19x57cm) (2023)

This piece was made in response to the Baltic's open call, which opened on 11th October and closed on 27th November 2023. Produced during my ARIM, it demonstrates the parameters of motherhood and sustainability. I had 9 hours of childcare per week, each row took an average 14 minutes and I had 17g left of the charity-shop found red yard left. The piece submitted, in total 78 rows of my abstract line work, seeks to create a rhythm that the viewer can connect with. All materials and tools were either found or passed on to me.
